A CONCENTRATE OF TECHNOLOGY
With one of the most modern production apparatuses in the world, Tarkett Sports has reasserted its strategy of developing increasingly advanced and innovative solutions.
Throughout time, technology has worked hand in hand with athletes to support their quest for performance. From balls to shoes and from textiles to rackets, there have been numerous advances.
This is our approach to designing sports flooring, and we work hard to personalize our solutions to the needs of athletes. With recycling, numerous patents, innovative products and advanced, sleek technologies, Tarkett plants worldwide strive every day to provide the best products in terms of quality, reliability and performance.
AUCHEL, FRANCE - ARTIFICIAL TURF
A Tarkett Sports site exclusively dedicated to producing artificial turf, the ultramodern Auchel plant (like its American counterpart Dalton) harnesses the most recent technological breakthroughs.
By combining patented products, a powerful logistics system and an in-house engineering department, Tarkett Sports is able to maintain constant control over the quality of its products, from design to installation. The full range of artificial turfs is produced on this site for Europe, Africa, etc.
SEDAN, FRANCE - PVC
As the historical site of the building part of the network, the Sedan plant produces more than 20 million m² of heterogeneous PVC per year for Tarkett Group. The products are based on a unique design that combines excellent acoustic, comfort and wear-resistance properties, and excellent athletic performance for sports products.
By supporting creativity in its technically advanced products for more than 40 years, the Sedan plant strives every day to combine performance, regulatory compliance and design. The Tarkett Sports Omnisports range is produced on this production site.
NARNI, ITALY - LINOLEUM
A natural site that uses only natural products, the Narni plant produces roughly 4 million m² of linoleum each year for Tarkett Group. Our linoleum is made from quickly renewable raw materials: linseed oil, wood flour, resin and burlap.
HANASKOG, SWEDEN - WOOD
A production center of Tarkett Group that has been dedicated to wood for 100 years, the Swedish Hanaskog plant produces more than 4 million m² of strip flooring and plywood floors for Western Europe.
With a tremendous amount of experience - it is the creator of the plywood flood - it implements the latest technological advances, a special wood seasoning process and exclusive patents that allow it to offer products that are at once advanced and environmentally viable. The Tarkett Sports wood flooring line is produced there.
RONNEBY, SWEDEN - PVC
Certified ISO 14001, this plant is in charge of producing heterogeneous PVC for Tarkett Group. At the cutting edge of technology, the Ronneby production site has installed a unit for recycling installation scraps.
Today, bringing its production sites into a responsible approach for managing manufacturing processes and their consequences is a priority for Tarkett Group. In fact, the four main European production centers have achieved significant results:
• Total organic atmospheric emissions: - 50 %
• Water consumption: - 30 %
• Non-recycled waste generated by the production centers: - 30 %
